Also known by locals as The Spit - where the river meets the sea. A place to relax, picnic, fish, soak up the sun or watch activity on the river from the waters edge or the sandy beach. Stay to watch the sun set behind the hinterland mountain-scape.

Mt Tinbeerwah is located just 15 minutes from Noosa Heads in Tewantin National Park. The walk has wheelchair and pram access to the first lookout point (130m) with views to the coast. Beyond the first lookout the track climbs to the lookout platform where you will enjoy spectacular 360 degree views perched 265m above sea level. Magnificent sunrises and sunsets can be enjoyed from this vantage point. Abseiling and rock-climbing is also permitted for experienced and suitably equipped people. Contact Grabrock for further details. There are picnic tables and toilet facilities, but there is no drinking water available at the site, so please remember to bring your own.
