Looking for a romantic evening away from it all? Excellent food at reasonable prices. Have drinks or just sit outdoors on the patio next to the fireplace and you would never know you are in the city. OK, I confess, one of my personal favorites.

Parks & Nature
Not a big park, but manageable. Easy and difficult hikes and rock climbing, cool-off waterfall. Lots of picnic areas that are quiet and private. Rare Las Vegas snow in winter.

Lots of winter fun - snow, tubing, skiing (very novice) - but you need to plan ahead and get a reservation. Restaurant is nice with rustic, filling food. In summer, there is hiking and mountain biking.

Drinks & Nightlife
So many casinos, bars, shows, shops...a must do. Everything is overpriced, except for the free drinks as long as you're gambling. Be aware that most of the hotels now charge hourly for parking.

Street fair Las Vegas style! Can be shocking so not be the best place for children. Best light show overhead set to music. Also variety of local bands, bars, gambling, etc. Has Zip line length of street overhead.

Outlet shopping at its finest. You'll find locals mostly, as compared to North Premium Outlets which has mostly tourists (and consequently higher end stores and higher end prices!) Standard outlet prices compare to sale prices at their regular stores, but their sale prices are spectacular - you just have to be lucky.

High end outlet with sales on top of slashed prices! Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Puma, ... big name brands. The place for international visitors - all signs and announcements translated into at least 4 languages.
