This is the place for canoe, kyack, raft rental. Many start/stop points along the river. This is the main one (another in Callicoon). They pick you up at your stop point and bring you back to your start point and vehicle. The location is beuatiful with Skinners Falls, swimming and sunbathing on the rocks is popular. (close to Milanville General store)

The closest large town - old Main Street is lovely with shops and resturants. Beyond there are the box stores (Walmart, Home Depot), and the fast food chains. The wonderful Dorflinger Glass Museum and Gardens are close by and are definitely worth a visit.

A steep hike up, but well worth it. Large rock outcroppings with stunning views. Pack a lunch and sit and take it all in. A bit of a drive from apt. but again, well worth it.
