Bodo's is probably the most well known restaurant in town by the locals. The absolute best New York style bagels you'll ever find (sorry NY, we've outdone you). They have bagels, bagel sandwiches and salads. Unbelievably cheap and very fast! Don't let a long line deter you. Most people go there for breakfast or lunch but they're so good, you might as well have them for dinner too. My mouth is watering as I'm typing this.

AMAZING breads, sandwiches and baked goods. You MUST try their cookies. My favorite is the sea salt caramel cookie but the double chocolate chip is also delicious. They also have great sandwiches sell many local items. Vegetarian friendly!

The best pizza! About 20 minutes from town but worth the drive. It used to be a tiny hole in the wall with just two tables but a couple years ago they expanded and now it's a full restaurant. Sometimes they have live music.

This is my favorite hiking spot in the Shenendoah National Park. It's a very steep uphill hike with an amazing view at the top. Plan to begin your hike one hour before sunrise for a breathtaking view of the sunrise. It's definitely worth the hike! I highly recommend Googling this spot for more information on location and parking. Cell service is sometimes spotty in the park.
