Several heavily wooded hiking trails and some that run parallel to the Catawba River. Bring your kayak and use the launch ramp right into the Catawba. There are also several pocket parks scattered thru out the neighborhood that many residents use to socialize with fellow neighbors or as gigantic fields for any sport imaginable. The biggest fans of these pocket parks are the family members of the four-legged variety!

If craft beer is tour thing you will have several breweries to choose from on Yancey St in South Charlotte. Olde Mecklenburg, Victory and Lower Left are some of my favorites. But don’t stop there. Not far away are more outstanding breweries including Wooden Robot, Legion, Sycamore and Bird Song. Tell me what tour favorite style of beer is and I will PINT you in the right direction (Ha Ha....get it!?
