A beautiful spot along the Brisbane River! BBQ areas, children’s playgrounds, adventure centre (which includes activities like kayaking, abseiling, cycling etc)!
If you feel up to the challenge, try walking up the Kangaroo Point cliff stairs (there’s 100+ steps) in the cliff face and a fantastic Italian restaurant at the top of those stairs, awesome for lunch, dinner or sundowners!

There are usually markets on over the weekends and you can hire a “green taxi”, ie you get cycled around -can fit up to 3 in the carriage! Enjoy!!

South Bank Parklands
Stanley Street PlazaSouthbank is equally beautiful by day as is by night! Great food outlets and restaurants and a perfect place to chill out along the river!
There’s a couple of fabulous children’s water play areas and playgrounds as well as a “fake beach”, with a lifeguard and another swimming pool!
There are usually markets on over the weekends and you can hire a “green taxi”, ie you get cycled around -can fit up to 3 in the carriage! Enjoy!!
Food scene
The local shopping centre, within walking distance! 2 grocery stores under 1 roof (Aldi & Coles), a couple of trendy/fashion clothing shops, a fishmonger (who sells the most beautiful, fresh seafood) and a fresh fruit and vegetable grocer, a couple of chemists, a couple of bakeries and a couple of bottle shops (Liquorland & BWS), a hairdresser, a barber shop, a gift shop and a florist!
Also great dining at The Gap Village - there is a fabulous sushi train and a brand new bar/ restaurant “Blind Tiger” that serves delicious foods and alcoholic drinks! Enjoy!
Ps there’s also a place to get a massage if you need!
