Sunny Slope is known for its wineries and farm land. I would recommend going tasting at a few wineries (they all close at 5!) then heading to Peaceful Belly Farm for a farm to fork meal.

We have a prominent Basque scene here in Boise! Go to the Basque Market for pinxtos and sometimes Paella! Across the street on the corner is also Bar Grenika a great Basque-style pub food joint.

A plethora of craft wine, beer, and cider in this area there is a map in your room so you can locate them! Garden City is a 10 minute drive at the most.

The east end is full of more adorable neighborhoods (just like the North End!) And is also home to our Beautiful Botanical Gardens that are absolutely worth a meander

Hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter! Beautiful views. The drive is super switch-backy so don't drive if the weather is icy. Around the Mountain is a favorite trail for runners walkers and bikers

We have a green belt for walkers/runners/bikers that follows the Boise River and spans from one side of town (and beyond) to the other. You can also float the Boise River in the summer!
