This is my favorite market in the city. Tons of fresh meat and fish is sold here every day but Sunday. You can get spices, nuts and lots of edible souvenirs here. Also a great spot for lunch as there are lots of small restaurants around it.

One of my favorite tavernas for traditional food from Crete. Try the liver with honey, the fried snails or one of their famous sausages. The dakos salad is also amazing!

Sightseeing
Standing 277 meters above sea level, Lykavittos Hill is the highest point of Athens. Although a beautiful walk up via a circular path, it will be a test of endurance and a challenge in summer. But totally worth it for amazing views!!

One of the best places to shop for souvenirs, nick knacks and search for hidden treasures in the antique shops. Definitely on the touristy side, but totally worth a visit
