Going Out for Drinks: The Graham Hotel (Speakeasy in basement and Rooftop) El Centro in Georgetown (Latin Dancing) Avenue Hotel Bar (outside patio) CIRCA at Foggy Bottom (good for food too) Guapo’s of Georgetown on the Waterfront (good for Mexican food too) Barcelona Wine Bar on 14th Street (Spanish Tapas-On Monday’s there is ½ off of wine bottles, personal favorite) Bar Dupont Clubs/Lounges: Sax- Live Brulesque Dancing but fancy dress code Heist Provision 14 Lost Society La Vie Masa 14 Amazing Food (but pricey): Blue Duck Tavern at the Park Hyatt (one of best brunches in DC) Bourbon Steak at Four Seasons in Georgetown (has a nice courtyard – you can smoke cigars there) Nobu (sushi) Chez Billy Sud (French) Fiola Mare (Italian Seafood) Filomena (Italian) Rasika West End (Upscale Indian) Inexpensive food: Charm Thai (Delivery within a block or so) Beefsteak (Jose Andres healthy salads) Burger Tap & Shake (yummy burgers and shakes) Whole Foods near Foggy Bottom Metro Stoney’s on L (American) Coffee: There are two Starbucks within a few blocks. Baked & Wired is a TOP coffee and pastry shop in Georgetown (Get your cupcakes here; do not waste your time in line for “Georgetown Cupcakes”. Laduree Georgetown (French macarons) District Doughnuts in Georgetown are the best doughnuts in the DMV.
