Kayak the river

This is the place you want to go if you want to see the river from a kayak or canoe. Or, if your into the outdoors, this is the spot for high quality gear and the best information. Better than the national forest headquarters in my opinion.

Sightseeing

Check out Lake Purfidy as Johnny Cash calls it. Its held back by the Kinzua Dam. A whole community was uprooted and forced to leave there home when they created the dam. The village of Kinzua can still be found on the bottom of the reservoir if you scuba dive feel free to take pictures for me. There are many places to visit within a close distance to the dam.

They have a 1 mile loop here for hiking. It is a forest preserve with trees that are 250-350 yrs old. Its absolutely amazing, and how all the forests around us should look.

Casino

If your into casinos, this is the closet. Also, I go, but not to gamble, to eat!!! Try the western door or the Italian place for a high class meal. Stay away from the buffett downstairs, remember go up to the second floor and you'll be happy with the food I promise.
