Sightseeing
Known as a cultural, educational and recreational precinct. Great Restaurants, Gallery of Modern Art, State Library, Maritime Museum, Science Museum, man made swimming beach. This is within easy walking distance from the apartment and is a nice walk or even better bike ride along the river (there are bike stations where you can hire a bike on the corner of Rotherham street near the Story Bride Hotel). If walking it will probably take you about 30 mins or you can catch the City Cat.

Public Transport
Ferries and City Cats: the terminal within walking distance. Under the Story Bridge is Holman Street. This is probably the closest and takes you right across to the CBD. Any ferry that is red is FREE all day and all night. City Cats are not free. A great way to see Brisbane is to take a City Cat for a river trip.. you can go north to the mouth of the river and south all the way down to the University. The City cats and the Ferry are very regular and run about every 15 mins.
Bus: There is a bus stop right outside the Story Bridge Café and Deli in Baildon.
Taxi: There is taxi rank right outside the Story Bridge Hotel in Baildon St. 5 mins to the city over the bridge.
