I can't think of a better place to go! Be the first one in the morning and you'll feel like the king of the world. There's a picnic table at the bottom of the trail to have a bite before your swim. No trash or restroom so plan ahead and plan to pack out anything you pack in.

Great place to take kids fishing for bass & bluegill. Round Valley lake is the water source for Greenville, so no swimming. But its a beautiful (less than) 5 mile walk around the lake, or a great spot for a picnic.

Local brews and the most delicious food. Grassfed beef burgers, and Spicy Salmon Salad....you can't go wrong! Go for a late lunch to avoid the rushes.

Taylorsville market is worth the stop. Have a coffee, milkshake, or stay for lunch. The historic town photos keep you entertained while you wait for your order.

Open on the weekends this volunteer run museum is worth the stop. Enjoy viewing the relics of the town's past and chatting with the docent. A walk through the neighboring cemetery is strangely calming & beautiful as well.
