Stroll through this verdant and lovingly cared for Garden and Estate and reach out and feel your soul and mind nourished.
An easy walk through a rose walkway and allow yourself to pause to view the lake waters.
Feeling strong and energetic and wanting more adventure then carefully take the 100 steps to the Slaney River for a special experience. All this is free for you to experience on your own or with a group. A little refreshment in the Garden Cafe and Garden Centre will set you up. Need a picnic?
In Summer time sit out with your Panini and Latte and scan the amazing scene that is Altamont. Enjoy!!

Corona North’s heirs allowed the State to undertake a major segment of restorative work to the Altamont Family home. The gardens are available to visit on almost every day of the year. Free of charge to enter with as many people as you can bring.
