They provide some guided tour in both Chinese and English for free and you don't need to book them in advance.

They built the garden to pursue the enjoyment of living. This garden is famous with its completion and identity. It is the classical garden architecture. The government spend lots of energy and money to reserve this garden. Please take a look of it! National Palace Museum
221 Sec 2, Zhi Shan RdThe earliest shop opened here is in 1851, gradually developed into business district. Kinds of shops developed here such as grocery, tea, cotton and traditional Chinese medicine. The appearance of the building has changed dramatically, from the complex and gorgeous Baroque decoration to the simple southern Fujian-style shops, gradually evolved into today's style. If you want to take a look at the traditional building and the grocery, you couldn’t miss here.

Huashan area has thrived as a wine factory in 1914. In 1987, the wine factory was relocated, and the space became disused. Through lots of effort, “Huashan Arts and Culture District” officially established in 1999. There’s an important area for designer and arts nowadays. There will held different kinds of exhibition and also a theater there. It’s a good choice for you to spend your afternoon there.

As you known, Dadaocheng District developed very early because of the business which rely on the Dadaocheng Wharf. This is the beginning of the Dadaocheng Wharf. Nowadays, we don’t use it to deliver goods, it becomes to the recreation area. You could rent a bike there, enjoy the river and the breathtaking sunset.

Nowadays, it’s totally different, there filled with little shop operated by young people. Old building but sell new good, you would find something special there.
