You will not see a better example of a grand Victorian hotel with its original features as well preserved anywhere in London. It also has a traditional pub quiz on Mondays, a Poker night on Wednesdays, and sometimes there's live music. A good selection of beers - ask to taste first, and ask for prices, so you're not surprised.
