As the extremely friendly owners tell me, "if we don't have it, you don't need it." They are my across the street neighbors and I just love this store!

Millennium Park is absolutely beautiful! Do not miss this wonderful open-space park during your Chicago visit. It is free and features the very cool, iconic sculpture, that is great for photo-ops: The Bean! (aka "Cloud Gate"). Right next to the Art Institute, Millennium Park is the perfect central location from which to base a walking tour of downtown Chicago. Some prime attractions are Lurie Gardens, Jay Pritzker Pavilion, and Crown Fountain.

Humboldt Park is a really pretty park in the center of the Humboldt Park neighborhood. It is very large and is great for day-time walking, relaxing, picnic-ing and the like. It has a bird sanctuary, a pretty little waterfall, wildflowers and grasses, lakes, a field house, and lots of wildlife. Great for day-time jogging, biking, hanging out, duck-viewing, fishing, BBQ-ing and every other park-like activity.
