Beautiful, wide-open beaches near the Coronado Hotel, great for a stroll and catching the sunset. It's only a short drive up the Strand from my home. Stop by if you're planning to check out the historic Hotel del Coronado or driving across the scenic Coronado Bridge to get to Downtown.

My favorite place for breakfast burritos (get the bacon, egg, and potato) and California burrito (carne asada, cheese, guacamole, and potato). They use better ingredients and actual potatoes instead of French fries and the balance of flavors is just perfect. Get it with the red salsa.
