North Beach is referred to as the “locals beach”, as it’s smaller than Sandbanks— and doesn’t see as much tourist traffic. Only 10 min drive, it’s got spectacular views and and sand dunes, a small lake side and the Lake Ontario side. Safe for swimming and a long expanse of beach. Pack some food and sunscreen and enjoy the day!

Shops
Bloomfield is a great place to park and wander up and down the small array of shops. Pickup lots of county favourites at Bloomfield Public House (a restaurants now serving curated county goods). Stop in KOKITO, County Treasures, and Casa Lucia— then grab ice cream at slickers ;)
