If you're looking for a healthy meal that doesn't taste like brocolli dipped in cucumber water, head to Greenstreat - you'll be glad you did. This place has amazing food and portions that you can even share. Avg price is around $15 - $20 depending on if you get a drink or not but it's well worth it.

Pretty authentic Thai food - reasonably priced and they do take out if you just want to grab some food and head back to the house.

I haven't had a better pie anywhere before. Come with an appetite and grab two because you'll wish you did after you sink your teeth in.
Worth the drive, Yackandandah is a beautiful little town and it's on the way to other attractions so stop here if you're feeling peckish.

Great pub meals and a relaxed atmosphere. Have a meal and a drink here - a pretty little laneway runs beside where you can sit outside while still being protected from the elements.

If you love wine - Rutherglen is the perfect place to visit and is not far from Albury. Bring a designated driver! There's wine tasting at many of the wineries - organise a bus tour if everyone in your party wants to sample.

Take-out
Hands down my favourite pizza place in Albury. Reasonably priced and they don't skimp on the toppings.
If you can't eat it all and have some left over for the morning, fry it in the frypan with a little bit of oil to bring it back to life rather than microwave it - you'll love it.

Take the kids and usually there's animals wandering around a small park outside and the kids can see Deer, Emu's and an Ostrich up close.
I've eaten in the restaurant on a Father's day before, it was a great meal - well worth the trip if you're heading that way.
