Although we've never toured the mansion itself, everyone that goes has loved it. For us the best part is to walk the grounds on a clear day as you sit above Portland on the westside. From this vantage point you can see the beauty of Portland with Mount St Helens to the north, Mount Adams to the northeast, and Mount Hood (beyond downtown Portland) to the east. On a very clear day you may also be able to see Mount Jefferson to the SE and maybe even 3 sisters near Bend beyond Mt J.
