Boulder Bay is beautiful any time of day. We enjoy it most early morning or sunset. Fun place to try fishing, swim or just relax. There are paddle board and kayak rentals nearby.

This is the beach that the kids like to visit when they want to wade out into the water and not have the crowds of Boulder Bay. Not great for fishing, but a great space for the kids to run and play.

This is a great trail, but you do have to scramble up some boulders. Check out All Trails for current info and conditions. Go early - limited parking fills up fast!

I love this trail. Beautiful views, moderately challenging and bear sightings!! Get an adventure pass from Big Bear Sporting foods for $5 so you can park in the lot.

This is the donut shop we walk to every time we are at the cabin. Gluten free and vegan options as well as amazing cinnamon rolls. They do Taco Tuesday’s too!
