They've been hosting elevated hot dogs (think umami-packed Japadog or jalapeno-mango hotdog, which was our fave) and the Old Salt cocktail trailer on site in the summer (which sells a $7 lemonade for those looking for zero alcohol libations) round out your boozy picnic at the Grange

Check their opening days/hours before you go, especially if you're headed for a late dinner or going out in the off-season.
They've installed plenty of large indoor plants between tables to give some distance, but keep in mind the restaurant is on the smaller side.

We go to Flossie's almost every time we're in the county because the sandwiches are fully loaded and next level; the fries are crispy, salty and deliciously herbed (again, next level).
If you have kids or an inner child to please, the burgers and mac and cheese balls are really good too. Flossie's also serves County Bounty, a local soda that's inventive, bubbly, refreshing and oh so delicious!
The grounds are the perfect setting for a County picnic so bring a picnic blanket or pull up a seat at the picnic tables.
At Carson's Garden Market (which hosts Flossie's "food truck") you'll find unique and beautiful house plants, seeds and garden things, natural locally made soaps, chocolates, teas and goods for kids and pets too.
They also have rescue goats.
Flossie's can get pretty busy in the high season, so prepare for a wait.

The food, wine and service here are fantastic; the chef's menu is well portioned, with more courses than the menu suggests, and well worth the price if you're out for a nice evening. The space has a nice buzz, but tables are well distanced.

So we've never been (it's on the other side of Picton over 45 minutes away), but we've had friends bring take out items from Agrarian over, and both friends and locals rave about the food here. seriously. i am still dreaming of their desserts and it's been months!

Drake Dev is also open late (enough) and open in the off season, which is notable when a lot of restaurants will close Mondays thru Wednesdays.

when their fresh pasta bar is open, go. think truffle pasta, brown butter and sage, squash ravioli that's rolled in front of you and then served immediately. it's so good, and the old barn building is just incredible. It's the kind of place you wish you had your rustic winery wedding in.

This quieter silky sand beach is a local favourite. A scenic space for a walk, great for a swim, picnic or play in the sand and surf.
Just be sure to pay attention to the undertow notifications and know your undertow safety before you go. You'll need to take the park pass with you when you go.
