This is without a doubt our favorite casual restaurant in Bend. The second you walk in you feel a sense of community. The food is fresh, organic, locally sourced and incredibly delicious. They source their bread from Bend's famous Sparrow bakery.
Bonus, it is just a short walk from the cottages.

Crux is the locals pub. The casual vibe, awesome beers but most notably great outdoor space. It's great for kids to run around while mom and dad enjoy a beverage.

The nachos are incredible and the Pub Beer is my favorite. 10 Barrel is just a short walk from the cottages. Their outdoor firepit makes it a great hang out spot year round.

Okay, this is not "local" but if you are from California you likely haven't been to a Dutch Bros and it is worth it. They are the most friendly bunch, they will brighten your day. Stop by on your way up to the mountain.

Just a short walk from the cottages Good Life is an awesome brewery! Their “Sweet As” is my go to. It’s delicious.

Wild Rose is a must! Thai food is out of this world and the casual environment makes it fun and entertaining. It is extremely busy so make a reservation or show up early and plan to wait. You can brewery hop downtown while you wait.
