Elise (neighborhood local) and her team have set up a unique pub - the Book Pub. It's a great place to go by yourself work, read a book or just relax. They have live music, poetry readings and trivia throughout the week.

Arguably one of the best pizza places in Portland, they also have one of the best Happy Hours from 11am to 6pm everyday - $5 wood fired margarita pizzas and $5 beers. A beer and a pizza for $10, yes please. It's a 15 minute walk from our place and the walk exemplifies the gentrification in Portland.
