Toda la comida es fresca y exquisita. Altamente recomendado el calamar frito y ceviche. ;)

Este es uno de los restaurantes que recuerdo visitar desde niña. Comida deliciosa, porciones gigantes y por supuesto excelente servicio!

Incorrectamente llamada “playa sucia”, Playuela queda a aproximadamente 30 minutos del Airbnb. Es parte de la reserva natural del Combate y cuenta con muchos caminos para hacer hiking, pequeñas cuevas y formaciones naturales de roca. Adicionalmente es una caminata corta al histórico faro de Cabo Rojo y el acantilado más famoso de la isla. De camino podrás encontrar las históricas Salinas. Ideal para turistear!
Incorrectly labeled “playa sucia” by non-locals, Playuela is approximately 30 mins from the Airbnb. It is part of the Combate natural reserve and has many hiking trails, small caves and natural rock formations. Additionally, it is a short walk to the historic Cabo Rojo lighthouse and the most famous cliffs on the island. On the way there you will also find the historic salt flats (Salinas). Ideal for sightseeing!

Combate beach is the longest continuous sandy shore on the island. The low tide and white sand beaches make this beach a big attraction to the public, especially on holiday weekends. My recommendation would be to go during the week when it is less crowded so you can enjoy the serenity of the area. This is my go-to sunset beach! 🌅

La playa del Combate es la costa arenosa continua más larga de Puerto Rico. La marea baja y arena blanca hacen esta playa altamente atractiva al público, especialmente durante días feriados. Mi recomendación es visitarla durante la semana cuando está más vacía y se puede disfrutar de la calma de esta área. Es mi lugar favorito para ver atardeceres. 🌅

Esta playa tiene valor emocional para mi. Es donde mi familia recibía el Año Nuevo desde que era pequeña. Ya las cabañas de boquerón no existen pero el balneario sin duda es icónico con sus casetas de salvavidas y vista al pequeño poblado de Boquerón.
I have a strong emotional attachment to this beach. It was here that my family celebrated the new year since I was a child. The boquerón cabins no longer exist but the beach remains without a doubt iconic with its lifeguard towers and the view to the small village of Boquerón.

Avenida Parque NacionalEsta playa tiene valor emocional para mi. Es donde mi familia recibía el Año Nuevo desde que era pequeña. Ya las cabañas de boquerón no existen pero el balneario sin duda es icónico con sus casetas de salvavidas y vista al pequeño poblado de Boquerón.
