Food Scene

Fabulous Italian place!! I love it. They make all their pasta/sauces in house, and as such they are a little pricey - but not much, average plate is 12-15 bucks. Also, their gelato is delicious.

Arts & Culture

LACMA! LA's famed museum. It's 15 bucks to get in or FREE between 3-5 on weekdays if you are a California resident. It's a cool place to walk around, esp if you are into that kind of thing.

Sightseeing

Giant pits of tar seeping out of the Earth and oozing and bubbling. Not to mention a little backstory from when LA was less inhabited. Check it. Also - TOTALLY FREE (unless you want to see museum too)

Shopping

The Grove has LA's famous Farmer's Market, which is open everyday. Also, tons of shopping, an outdoor mall, movie theater and restaurants - if that's what you're into.
