Neighbourhoods
We live on the outskirts of the small village of Porchfield on the Isle of Wight. It’s very quiet where we live and the people down in the village are lovely. This village backs onto the gorgeous old village of Newtown which is dotted with old stone cottages. Newtown is build just inwards from the marshland and Newtown Creek which is teeming with wildlife and a perfect spot for crabbing. Our crime rates are extremely low and we live in a picture perfect area.

The very old and beautiful Newtown is a must visit in my books and is only a 5 minute drive from Forest Farm. We absolutely love cycling down the country lanes to Newtown and going for walks through the countryside there.

Food scene
This pub is just a walk/short drive away and serves some of the best food on the Island. The views from the pub windows are fantastic and it has a great playground for children!

This is my families favourite pub. The food is genuinely the best on the island ! A really spacious pub with amazing service and incredible food for really reasonable prices !!

Sightseeing
This was our favourite place for a family day out when we were growing up (when we had time between farming) this is such a gorgeous beach and is famous for its fossils! The surf is the best on this beach !

Family fun
This is a great day out with a cafe, boating lake, bird feeding, the old flour mill that’s still producing flour, clay making and beautiful walks. This was one of my favourite places to visit with my brother when we were younger. Most of it is outdoors so Covid safe as well.
