Great for smaller kids or early morning exercises with cappuccino.
Turn right next to the playground on the Esplanade overlooking both playground and water. Carpark nearby or by floor or bike turn right out of the house and then right into Charles St following the road, foot bridge over Lily creek, continue over the Captain Cook Highway and then turn right when you reach the Esplanade walking trail. Return trip can be up to 3KM - 5KM depending on how far you wander/explore from the route.
