A great atmosphere that will work for family at lunch and early evenings, yet will accommodate a solo diner or solo person going for a drink without feeling out of place. The venue has an open format with restaurant side accommodating minors complemented by a lounge side with big screen TV's, music, booths, tall-boy tables and chairs. A bit expensive, but nice outdoor patio within walking distance.

Famous local restaurant located in central downtown that specializes in local and Canadian food/game/wines. Indoor cozy charismatic venue complemented by outdoor patio that is set in the middle of Prince's Island park (must walk final 5 blocks to access).

This is one of our own favorites for a great Calgary Steak. They also have huge variety of other mains, with the sides served in the format of sharable portions. Formal dining room is complemented by lounge bar where you could also eat dinner, and on Friday and Saturday nights experience live music from 10pm-1am. (TIP: book dinner in lounge and keep table/seat for the live music).
Venue can accommodate large formal groups, or groups in open spaces.
