A lovely little café brew bar serving lunch, coffee, cakes and evening meals. It’s just passed the second set of traffic lights on the high street. We’d recommend booking for dinner: 01479 872246.

The Garth is a hotel with a beer garden and restaurant based at the quiet end of the square if you go left at the monument. They’ve recently re-opened with a new chef and the menu is great. 01479 872836

Sylhet Brasserie is our local Indian, it’s in the Square directly across from the Co-op. They do sit-in and takeaway. There’s normally no need to book but you can reach them on 01479 873536.

Andersons Pizza - Delicious take away pizzas based at Achnagonalin industrial estate on the outside of town. You can order online at andersonspizza.co.uk. These guys also own and operate Cairngorm Leaf and Bean coffee.
KJ’s Bothy Bakery - The owner of the famous mountain café in Aviemore has now set up a bakery – it’s right next to Andersons Pizza and has great coffee and cakes as well as breads.

Alvie Forest Food is a food van located at Dalraddy holiday park near Kincraig. They use local (often foraged) food for their menu. The options are amazing and it’s very near the highland wildlife park so can be tagged on to a visit there.

The highest beach in the UK... I think. A great spot for a dip on a warmer day. There's also a watersports centre here.

BIke trail centre and cafe, they have a rental fleet including some e-bikes. Great trails with options for all levels, the new orange trails which opened up last year is dubbed the A-Line of Scotland.
