A family-friendly Oregon classic, beautiful view of the Siletz Bay. At peak season the wait can be long, there's a dock nearby to take a walk. Service can be hit and miss. Nice shrimp salad.

Great fresh fish selection. Tasty hand cut chips and fries. Perfect for a family lunch or grabbing some take out for the beach. For a fastfoodish hole in the wall, the food is really great!

Easy walking distance. Best clam chowder. BIG portions. Cheap $5 breakfast. Kid friendly. Bar next door (haven't been). Busy, but usually not a wait. No windows/view, but cozy coastal atmosphere.

Easily the nicest surf and turf place in town...other great places but you can't beat the view! Delicious halibut. Perfect cobbler. Kid-friendly. Somewhat casual or dressy. Worth a splurge.

Classic McMenamin's brewery in a strip mall setting. Nice northwest-inspired menu. Great happy hours. Beer is cheaper by the pitcher. :-) Still kid friendly.

This place has a great happy hour. You can take a long walk south, and walk off dinner/drinks on the way back. The view is amazing.

We are HUGE fans of the Red Fox Bakery, which has amazing breads, pastries and amazing sandwiches with yummy macaroons. The day old challah bread is great for french toast!

Pacific City is a beautiful little beach community to the north, about a half hour drive away. Aside from the impressive Haystack Rock, the main attractions is Pelican Pub & Brewery, a delicious microbrewery with an amazing view--it is also popular among paragliders.

Nice spot to find some local flavor. Not recommended for food, since it is spendy for the low quality, if they will serve you (once it seemed like too much effort so they declined). But, the real winner is a classic shuffle board to sip a beer or cider with.

This beautiful community park is the heart of Olivia Beach. There's a playground, sand volleyball, fire pit, BBQ grills, a big lawn, evergreens, wetlands with a foot bridge, and lovely vine trellises.
