Amazing gardens / views / food - it offers something for everyone.

Trebah is a must for anyone who enjoys Gardening / beautiful views / pebble beach and the Cafe / restaurant is a great for lunch. Events in their outdoor amphitheatre are varied and a lovely experience across the summer. Frequented by vocal groups, comedians (such as Mark Watson) and drama groups, it’s a perfect afternoon / evening activity to enjoy on a sunny day.
Saturday - Wednesday (Gardens) must pre book slot. We are members and regular visitors and it never grows dull, something to see all year around. 3 mins by car just the other side of the village.

Currently Tuesday - Sunday book ahead of entering gardens. Not just the garden walks / tea house and the maze is great fun, but there are also amazing coastal walks around the gardens and Down to Durgan and surrounding areas. A must.

Another Cornwall National Trust must see, fantastic walks outside and inside the national trust gardens and around to the King Harry ferry. Good tea rooms with good size outdoor space and plenty of parking. A little further away than the other 2 gardens listed (which are within 3-4 mins away by car) at around 30 min drive but worth the trip.

Pub with a view

Simply beautiful scenery for a drink outside, food available also. Small beach (especially at high tide), can hire kayaks / take small boat trip to Helford village (also stunning) across the other side of the river, Coastal walk / boat watching etc. Parking in top carpark on the right as dropping down the hill, in particular high season, sometimes parking back up on the road up the hill.

Walks and Beach

Beautiful beach, perfect from morning to late afternoon to catch the Sun. beach cafe and restaurant are both really good. A food option for everyone with views to boot. Really safe swimming bay with very gradually gradient out especially at high tide. Can launch kayaks and on a calm day ideal for paddle boards. Coastal walks around to neighbouring beaches to left (Swanpool and then Gyllyngvase), or around the headland to the right up to Mawnan and then Mawnan Smith. Walkable from house via footpath (40 mins approx) with very short section on road (100yards approx), majority across fields.
