Gorgeous intimate gallery, 15 minutes stroll from the house, top of O'Connell st close to the Gate theatre. Start hereon your walk into town, lovely coffee shop in the basement.

We have a gorgeous park with a play area for children and an exercise area for everybody, 10 minutes walk from the house. This park is small and beautiful.

Absolutely gorgeous, the Botanic Gardens never disappoint, they have a good restaurant there too for lunch or tea and a scone. This is a 15 minute walk from the house or you can drive and pay for parking in the car park. Highly recommend.

Book well in advance the Visitor Centre is fabulous, there is a tour via a mini bus and this is essential, they bring you into the tomb and turn the lights out and recreate how the sun shines in the gap on the Winter Soltace, Fabulous day trip that should be top of your list , great restaurant on site too.

This fishing village on the northside is a lovely spin from us , about 30 minutes, stroll around the pier, check out the seals and get a bag of chips or an ice cream. there is a great Cliff walk from Howth Harbour up to the Summit and back, about 2 hours but beautiful views on a good day. We often jump in the car and head over to walk Clontarf Seaboard and the wooden pier leading up to Bull Wall.
Park on street anywhere near Kinara Indian restaurant, go for the walk ( about 1 hour up and back the end of the pier ) and have an early bird dinner in our favourite Indian restaurant, delicious fresh food. Early bird 5- 7pm.
