The wooden chapel, was built in 1917 by Russian prisoners of war in memory of the deceased during the construction of the Vršič Pass road.
The construction of the chapel is wooden. Originally it was covered with bark, later with small boards.

The valley is very beautiful during the summer. Treat yourself to an 8 kilometre hiking trip, which you can start in Mojstrana going through the settlement of Zgornja Radovna to the Zasip Valley.

The 2864-metre-high peak of Triglav can be climbed from the Vrata, Kot and Krma Valleys, from Trenta, Pokljuka and Bohinj. The shortest trail to Triglav is from the Vrata Valley, but the easiest and the longest is the 7-kilometre-long trail through the Krma Valley. In the kingdom of the Goldenhorn!
