We love Nate's because you can go there during the day and bring your laptop, get work done and then stay for happy hour. It's super friendly and it's a great spot to meet people and chat it up. One caveat--they don't have a kitchen so the food offerings are limited (still good though!).

Because the food is terrific, the service friendly and the vibe is really nice.

It's easy be at Hat Creek. It's a fast casual restaurant where you can get a healthy salad or a burger. I like them because they sponsor a lot of local activities too (like the Buda Turkey Trot) and other fun events for the community.

This little town is a bunch of fun! Wineries are dotted along the drive out from Buda to Fredericksburg and there are plenty of places to stop along the way. It's a great day trip to see the sights, take in the splendor of the Hill Country.
