Columbia County Library has computers, a notary, movies, and of course books. During the summer they have all kinds of presenters from animal sanctuaries to comedians to authors. Wonder story times for different age groups plus fantastic aground with SHADE and a splash pad. It has a short walking loop around a pond filled with turtles and fish for the kids to look at.

It has a short walking loop around a pond filled with turtles and fish for the kids to look at.
Our personal favorite place to visit on the weekends, just a 20 minute drive from Evans. There are many sandy beach areas that you can visit around the largest lake east of the Mississippi. Our favorites are at Wildwood Park and Cherokee. You can rent a pontoon boat or jet skis at various locations with a quick Google search.

This Fantastic Japanese Hibachi style restraunt has two locations. The Evans location is less than ten minutes from this property. If you love ginger beer sure to get the pre dinner salad, we never leave without the Tempura Asparagus.

Our favorite Mexican Restaurant. We love the vibe and have always had excellent service. They are always busy but we never have to wait long for a table. Pair this visit with a walk at Savannah Rapids because they are just a few minutes from each other!

We love this place for it's unique burger combinations. This restaurant is in downtown Augusta. If you're doing some sightseeing down town and craving American Food this place will hit the spot. I wouldn't say it's ideal for a large group because of the accoustics, but small groups that fit into a booth work well.
