Ordered takeout from there recently. I went to pick it up and thought it would be a cool place to hang out. A little less hipster than Battery Park. good atmospher.

The food is consistently delicious. my friends and I go here 3 times a week during the warmer months. not just because we can get there by boat. If you plan to go on the weekend then make a reservation. it is the busiest spot in Dartmouth.

The Alderney ferry terminal is a great place to catch an inexpensive boat ride to Halifax. On Saturdays enjoy the Dartmouth farmers market before taking the ferry over to the Halifax Seaport Farmers market.

If you have the time then Peggy's Cove is a must see if you haven't and a see again if you have. Please be careful, adhere to the warning signs, and stay away from the edge of the rocks. Incredible views are all around this sea-side community.

A very scenic and beautiful area is a must visit for anyone who loves small fishing villages. There are plenty of shops and food stands in this quaint area. Enjoy a walk on the boardwalk or relax on the beach. A great place to launch a kayak and paddle around McNabs Island or over to the Halifax Waterfront.

Beautiful trails take you all the way to Lawrencetown beach is you are adventurous. The bike ride to the beach is awesome and can be done in a couple hours.

This gem is great if you have a day to hike or a night to camp. I like to paddle over and camp out on the island. However you can book a lift over from Fisherman's Cove in Eastern Passage or even take a water taxi over from Kings Wharf in downtown Dartmouth. If camping out make sure you reserve a spot. It's free! My favorite local place to day hike and camp.

It is a nice little area that is right outside the door. At the end of the driveway take a left (walking/biking only). When you come a path leading to a parking lot you are there. Explore! Kawanis Kones is there if you like ice cream.

If you want to get out of the city for a day then take the 40 minute drive to Wolfville in the Annapolis Valley. Whether it's for the breath-taking views, great cuisine, vineyards, biking/walking/walking trails, or farmers markets, there are more than a view amazing activities to do in the Valley.
