The original "Peanut" - a local fav. This hole-in-the wall is a real dive, but just as delicious. We recommend you start with a basket of fries, order a dozen wings (for 2 people), and lots of soda. They're HOT! Most wings eaten by one person was 19, and she was a real sight to see!

My absolute FAV brunch place in Kansas City. We found the bottom of the bottomless mimosas. Located in the Crossroads area, this place is an easy drive, but picking your favorite off the menu is another story! I highly recommend the Mac ' N' Cheese!

Some of KC's most iconic BBQ! There are several Jack Stack locations, including one on the Plaza, but the FreightHouse location is pretty special! We went there for our 1 year anniversary! Make sure and get a reservation, maybe a few days in advance, just to be sure!

Loose Park is great for a walk or run surrounded by some of KC’s most gorgeous, iconic homes. Check out the splash pool with the kids, or the Rose Garden in the spring. Loose Park also offers free tennis courts and a great playground. It's a 2.5 mile walk all the way around and back to our house!
