The Vondelpark is Amsterdam's most popular park. It is home to a selection of restaurants and cafés, including the Blauwe Theehuis, Café Vertigo, Vondelpark3, De Vondeltuin and the Groot Melkhuis. You’ll also find a skate rental shop, an open-air theatre and a rose garden with more than 70 types of roses in the park. The Vondelpark was designed by landscape architect L.D. Zocher and has been awarded national heritage status.

Golden Brown Bar is one of the hottest spots on the westside of Amsterdam and it’s well known voor it’s cosy atmosphere, great Thai food and nice drink and beer menu. My personal favourite, where I come at least a few times a week!

I can't count how many Dutch and Belgium beers they serve here. From every microbrewery imaginable. And on Saturday's they have jazz jam sessions that go well with a beer or two.
