Dar Essalam Moroccan Restaurant is our absolute favorite restaurant in Wilsonville. It is not really Mediterranean, but I put it here since if you like Mediterranean food you will love Moroccan food. It is in the shopping center behind the Parks and Rec building on Parkway Ave. Their lunch specials are great. Dinner is delicious for take-out or eat-in.

It is not really Mediterranean, but I put it here since if you like Mediterranean food you will love Moroccan food. It is in the shopping center behind the Parks and Rec building on Parkway Ave. Their lunch specials are great. Dinner is delicious for take-out or eat-in.

Perfect Pizza is our favorite pizza place. It is nearby in the Walgreens shopping area behind Key Bank. They are great for take-out or delivery and Mondays are usually buy one-get one free.

Our favorite Thai restaurant, Thai Delight is next to Juan Colorado’s just west of Town Center, behind the Starbucks drive thru. It is owned by a lovely young couple. Thai Village is just south of Town Center in Village at Main near Wells Fargo Bank.

Our favorite sushi restaurant is Sushi Avenue. It is nearby at the intersection of Boones Ferry and Wilsonville Rd. in the 7-11 strip mall. On the other side of I-5, next to Juan Colorado’s is Sushi Track, where selections come by on a little train track and you take whatever looks good to you. Ichi Teriyaki and Kirin Ramen are both in the Fred Meyer’s shopping area.

Looking for a Starbucks? Last count we had five of them in Wilsonville. The closest is across from the McMenamin’s entrance to Fred Meyer’s on Boones Ferry and there is one right next to Fred Meyers. There is a drive-through Starbucks (or sit-down) located in Town Center near Juan Colorado’s. There is one inside Safeway and a Starbucks in Argyle Square. The newest one is located inside the Target store at Argyle Square. If you are meeting someone at Starbucks just be sure you clarify which one! We recently got a Dutch Bros Coffee located in Town Center. The Corner Coffee Shop and Bakery is next to Safeway in Town Center

You are welcome to use any of these or take them with you to a park to play. There are also two bird ID books and binoculars, an umbrella and some extra coats in the hall closet.

Getting around without a car in Wilsonville is doable but it can be challenging figuring out the connections depending on where you need to be. Shopping, pubs and restaurants are an easy 1 mile walk away.
Wilsonville has free bus transit service inside the city and connecting service to Portland and Salem. Here is a link to the map.
