Fantastic Himalayan restaurant with fantastic food! The owner is a Guinness book of world records holder for climbing Mount Everest the fastest. Fantastic people! They also have American food as well as beer and wine. Their blueberry and huckleberry pies are amazing!

Winter weather power outages
Please be aware before you book that during the winter months of November through March we experience quite a few power outages due to winter storms. Winter conditions can cause large limbs and even trees to fall on powerlines which can knock out the power from anywhere from a few hours to a full day. We do have a generator that runs our well and a few lights and the TV/blue ray player in the cabin. You will not have hot water or Internet during these outages. We are not responsible for any inconveniences that these power outages might cause.

Winter access to Mt Rainier National Park
Chains are required on all vehicles from November 1 to May 1. Chains can be rented at a few local places in Ashford.

Please make sure to get groceries before you head out!
Please make sure to pick up groceries before you head out as there are no good grocery options once you arrive in Ashford. There are only two small convenience stores with some frozen food options and it’s quite pricey.
