Homey, great BBQ, music and beer selection. I love their cornbread, and collards, and ribs, and brisket, oh heck, just about everything. They do sell out, especially when the Cajun Aces are playing (2nd Fridays). Other good bands too.

They started out as non alcohol is while they got their license, but now they are VERY alcoholic and specialize in mixology. Lots of bitters and interesting mixed drinks. Servers knowledgable and the front of the shop is full of barware.

Every Friday the museum is open free of charge form 6- 8 pm. First Fridays are the Art Crawl. All Galleries are open, and sully time new openings to the first Friday Crawl. Congress St is teeming with folks wandering around and its a lot of fun.

A quick cheap ferry ride (15 minutes, $6-8) gets you to the island. Take a windbreaker, because it gets chilly on the boat. There is a 4 mile walk all around the island, and it's amazing on the back side looking out towards - Africa?!
