Neighbourhoods

Our condo is located in the El Tezal neighbourhood of Cabo San Lucas. It is centrally located within easy walking distance to several restaurants and stores. We recommend Higos & Olives, Fish in Taco, Granny’s and Infusion Bistro which are all close to the condo. Or take a 10-min Uber or city bus to downtown Cabo and the Marina.

Take a water taxi to the beautiful Arch, where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. Stay awhile on Lover’s Beach and Divorce Beach (Divorce Beach is angry and not recommended for swimming:) just steps away.

The sunsets are stunning in Cabo, so relax after a long day in the sun with a beverage on a sunset cruise around The Arch.

Take a yellow or purple coach bus, or an Uber, into San Jose on Thursday night for their Art Walk. The downtown square is alive with local artists and musicians. We recommend having dinner at Panazia Cocina Mexiatica — amazing courtyard and delicious cuisine!

Rent a car for the day and head through the dessert to Todas Santos (less than an hour from Cabo San Lucas). Stop for a beverage or lunch at the famous Hotel California, and help release the hatching sea turtles at Tortugueros Las Playitas that takes place between Dec-April. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience!

For avid hikers, there are several amazing hiking trails requiring various levels of experience. The Hike and Mt. Solmar are two of my favourites. Don’t miss the opportunity to hike in the dessert with the Sea of Cortez in your sites!

Cabo’s whale watching season is between late December and end of March. Blue and Gray Whales and Orca Whales can be spotted playing in the waters of the Sea of Cortez. Borrow our binoculars and often you can spot them from the shores of Medano beach just a few minutes walk from our condo!

Shopping

Don’t miss a shopping trip to Artesano’s. It’s an amazing warehouse of all things Mexican - a great place to pick up items to take back home. It’s just around the corner from the condo.

Conseils aux voyageurs

Se déplacer dans les environs

Easy city bus access to downtown Cabo and to San Jose.

The city buses in Cabo San Lucas are easy to access, safe and an affordable way to get around. Taxis are very expensive so we recommend taking public transit or Uber whenever possible. The small white city bus that stops in front of our condo costs less than $1 USD (about $13.50 pesos). The larger purple and yellow coach buses travel into San Jose for about $37 pesos a person.

How much is the city bus into Cabo?

If you decide to rent a car during your stay.

If you decide to rent a car during your stay, our condo comes with one secured and gated parking spot. When looking for street parking, if the curb is painted a colour do not park there as you will be ticketed. Only park where there is a white strip or no strip at all. For downtown Cabo and the Marina area, there is a large parking lot near the access to the boat launch area that is reasonably priced. But get there early as the spots do fill up quickly.
Manières d'économiser

Airport Pick-up & Drop-off.

Taxis from the airport are quite costly and Uber drivers are not permitted at the airport. Our guest service includes arranging for our Property Manager, Elihu, to pick you up at the airport when your flight arrives and take you back to the airport for your departing flight. He will even stop at Walmart or Costco so you can grab some groceries on your way to the condo. We will connect you directly with Elihu to discuss his fee (which is very reasonable!) and secure your flight details.
À ne pas manquer

Book Stores

Book stores that sell english novels are hard to find in Cabo. The Bookworm (wormloscabos.com) located about a 15 min walk from our condo along the service road has a great supply. Costco and Walmart do not sell english books.
