This is Beatrix Potters Home, small but perfectly formed, go early though as they do timed tickets and limit the number that go through the house each day, usually closed on a Friday.

A great place to see most of the Lakes District big hills from and one of Wainwrights favorite places, a short steep walk but so worth it especially on a clear day you can see al the way to to Isle of Man if your lucky.
