Such-Good-Food! Not cheap so get there during happy hour or lunch, in downtown Naples. That said, after 8pm they usually have live music inside and the bartender makes strong drinks. I love the seafood pasta here, but everything is good. $$$

This is a MUST VISIT once in your life if you are out on Sanibel. CAKES like you have never tasted! Its a loonnnnggg drive out there, but when you see the scenery along the way, you won't mind. One slice of cake can feed three people! I've never eaten the food because its very expensive. The Cape Coral "Yacht Club" is a small dirty beach. I do not recommend getting in the water. HOWEVER, the boathouse grill is so much fun to eat at right on the water here, everybody does it. If you are up for an adventure, leave your credit card at home for this cash only shopping experience! Drive half hour into the rurals from here, into Immokalee, where local migrant workers have sent up a huge farmer's market. I love bragging about the deals I get there- I once paid $3 for an entire box of zucchini! They barter with you to an extent here, especially if you speak a little Spanish. There is a woman with citrus fruit hanging out front. Ask her for a large hibiscus tea for $1.... Its delicious!! Keep in mind, its all one-way. Pull off to the side in front of the tent you want to check out and park. Get in, get out and get back in the car. Keep moving forward in this same way, running in and out of tents as you park along the side of slow moving circle of cars coming through. Don't be afraid. After the market, be sure to visit where the locals eat Mexican food.... Lozano's Grill. Looks scary but is delicious!

Sit outside on the canal here for some wonderful Mexican food. Its expensive, but delicious and very well made! I think their ceviche is the best! I will be honest, the service is slow. So do not go there if you are in a rush. There is a sister restaurant in Edison Mall in Fort Myers, if you don't want to drive over the bridge into Cape Coral. By far, the BEST and the CHEAPEST Cuban food (or any food )you will eat in this area. It is a HOLE in the WALL in Cape Coral. Not open on Monday and closes early. Few people speak English there. But you can get a steak with chimichurri sauce with rice and beans to last you a week, for under $10!! And trust me, you could split it, its so much food! Oh, and the plantains!! This is a little hidden gem of a Cuban restaurant. You can hear and see grandma cooking in the kitchen. Its not pretty, and they only serve beer as alcohol there, but if you are out of money OR want Cuban food, go here! Worth the drive.
