Stop by this historic poor farm that the McMenamins have remodeled into a hotel, music venue, distillery, winery. Walk the beautiful gardens, sit outside or in any of the eclectic spaces they have beautifully curated. This is a great place to stop by for a meal or a drink on the way back from the Columbia River Gorge or Mt Hood. I'd even say it's a fun destination for a day trip.

Kinboshi Ramen (aka Marukin Ramen) makes DELICIOUS ramen. Great spot for takeout, sitting outside, or eating in. Their miso ramen is my favorite -- thick and flavorful.

From the Audubon Society located in Forest Park you can access a few trailheads. Descend from the Audubon Society onto the Balch Creek trail for a beautiful hike. From there you can access many other trails.
