Take a drive to the tip of Point Loma and check out the historic lighthouse and some of the best views in San Diego. There is a fee to enter the National Monument but if you have a National Parks Pass it's free. And they do close rather early at 5pm.

If you happen to be visiting La Jolla, it's worth a drive up to the top of Mt Soledad for some incredible views of San Diego.

It's hard to say who has the best fish tacos in town since everyone has their own particular taste but Mitch's should definitely be a top contender. Their seafood is super fresh which makes a big difference!

The closest beach to our place, it's about a 15-20 minute walk or you can drive and usually find parking in the large parking lot. It does get crowded on hot weekends.
