Food scene

The Cubano sandwich, accompanied by a homemade tomato soup and impossibly flavorful and crunchy chips, cannot be outdone for a wintery lunchtime meal. Throw in a namesake Cage Havana coffee (cuban style blend of bold espresso, cream and raw organic cane sugar) and you’ll be zinging around the valley! They serve breakfast and lunch and have delicious smoothies if you’re craving something lighter.

Our favorite place when it comes to loading up on baked goods and delicious, quick breakfast! While you’re awaiting your “Old Timer Burrito” (Sausage, hash browns, eggs, cheese, seasonings with salsa verde on the side), enjoy the cozy atmosphere and check out some of the beautiful locally-made pottery from the well-known Mountain Arts Pottery! Check for daily pie and baked good specials! Their Caramel Pecan Rolls served fresh each Wednesday morning are insane! We like to enjoy the nearby hot springs and then head here for a weekday treat. Call ahead for a pick up order if you’re heading out on an adventure! 406-586-2146 *They’re not open Sundays unfortunately*

Great traditional bar-b-que just minutes from our place. In-house brews are also on tap and you can grab growlers to go if you just can’t get enough. We love all the sides and the rotating fruit cobbler dessert but, of course, don’t miss the meat sampler platters (their ribs are 🤤)

Not open Sunday! Must-try burgers and their in-house ranch dressing is a meal stopper! Come early to make sure you get a seat to watch the game.

Part art shop, part coffee shop, part meeting place and church, all goodness. We love the homemade muffins, breakfast sandwiches, yummy coffees (like the Bee Sting - which you can get hot/cold and with regular or Habanero honey if you’re feeling spicy) and walking distance (20mins) from our house. Like most coffee shops around here, though, it also has a drive through for those in climate days. Be sure to grab a banana nut muffin (if any are left)!!

If you want steak - don’t look anywhere else! With a full bar (not every place has their liquor license) and the best soup of the day EVERY DAY, this is worth the 20 mins drive! You MAY need a reservation so be sure to call ahead, this place is popular and fills up!

Not open on Mondays! Although they are known for their prime rib (The au jus that comes with it is more like a sec flavorful gravy), There is plenty more to love on this menu. They do classic style dinners that come with soup, salad, your choice of potato side, and a delicious scoop of local ice cream or sorbet. They also have a full bar and our conveniently located less than 15 minutes from our place in the cute town of Manhattan. This is a great place for a fun family dinner or just to get your fill of red meat!

A giant 37-acre dog park where you can let your furry family member roam leash-free. There is a nice dirt walking path around the park but you can also just traverse The Hills freely. They have dog poop bags available, but the human pit bathroom is to be avoided! There is a parking lot on site, but it fills up quick. Some people park on the street when that happens. Be sure to come when it’s not too hot as there is no shade at all, but there are exquisite views of Bozeman and the surrounding valley.

A beautiful park right by downtown Bozeman with walking trails, a dirt bike course, a sledding hill and an off-leash dog park (with a swimming pond in the summer). This place a little something for everyone in the family! Come enjoy the outside environs if you’re not feeling up for one of the more arduous hikes in the area then finish off with a nice meal in Bozeman.

Conseils aux voyageurs

Se déplacer dans les environs

Rental Car is a Must

We are so close to the airport you could technically walk, however, while Belgrade itself has its merits, you’ll want to have wheels to explore all the natural outdoors and fun to be had in the entire Valley. Renting a car if you fly in is a must!
Que faut-il apporter ?

Always bring a warm jacket

Even if the weather forecast appears sunny and warm, the winds here can shift to a freezing cold!! We always recommend guests bring a warm jacket, gloves and beanie (as well as sunglasses)!
