A beautiful botanical garden that’s great to visit all year round! The jungle greenhouse and orchid exhibits are indoors, warm, and toasty even when it’s snowing and perfect for a walk in the winter.

A really cool and unique concert venue, but there are also a bunch of great hiking trails nearby the amphitheater with cool rock formations all around. ~40 min drive from my house.

Cute mountain town 1.5 hr drive from my place that is also the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park and a destination in and of itself. Check out the Stanley Hotel, the inspiration for The Shining, or walk the downtown area to see some cool shops.
