Good BBQ and other. It's a sports bar but there are quiet parts if you don't want that. In the winter they have a fireplace. Good food. Inexpensive. Nice vibe.

from here you can walk down main street and around the historic streets of Annapolis. There are many unique shops and little art galleries. It is really charming. Tons of restaurants and the water is all around you.

Take a tour of the Library. it is mindblowing. There are great restaurants nearby (and a cafe inside). Lots of history here.
It's about a 45 minute drive with no traffic but you can also go to the Metro at New Carollton or Largo and park and take the train in.
